Club Objectives

The objects of the Society are:

(a) To become and remain registered with the Guild.

(b) To further the interests of enrolled students.

(c) To assist new students with orientation to the University.

(d) To encourage and promote cooperation between the Society and other Student societies.

(e) To do all things that are necessary and proper for the benefit and advancement of the Society and the Guild.

(f) To promote responsible animal care, welfare and wildlife conservation through education and awareness.

(g) To provide opportunities for members to volunteer with local animal shelters, rescue organisations and community initiatives.

(h) To support student wellbeing by fostering social connection and organising animal-assisted wellbeing activities where possible.

(i) To deliver educational workshops and practical learning opportunities related to animal welfare, first aid, wildlife and responsible pet ownership.

(j) To encourage leadership, teamwork and community service through member involvement in club activities and events.

(k) To build partnerships with animal welfare organisations, charities and wildlife groups to create meaningful opportunities for members.

(l) To create an inclusive, welcoming and respectful environment where students from all backgrounds and fields of study can connect through a shared interest in animals and community service.
